OUR LEADERSHIP
The Leaders Driving Our Vision
Led by servant leaders, advocates, and community changemakers focused on expanding opportunities, empowering athletes, and advancing the future of women’s football.
Jennifer Moody
Owner / President
Jennifer Moody is the owner of the Tampa Bay Inferno, a professional women’s tackle football team in the WFAPro division of the Women’s Football Alliance. A former wide receiver and punt returner for the Pittsburgh Passion, Jen was part of the 2007 national championship team, featured on ESPN’s SportsCenter, and appeared in a 2009 documentary on women’s football. She played a role in growing the Passion’s operations and co-founded the Passion For Life Foundation, which uses sport to teach life lessons and make a positive impact. Her shoulder pads are on display at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh.
Jen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Waynesburg University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. She launched the Inferno Women’s Football Foundation to promote athlete mental wellness and create more opportunities for girls and women in sports. Her leadership continues to shape the future of women’s football on and off the field.
Lori Johnson
General Manager / Head Coach
Lori Johnson brings 24 years of football experience to the Tampa Bay Inferno. She is a culture-driven leader committed to leading the Inferno with clear standards, accountability, and trust. Her coaching career is rooted in a variety of head coaching roles outside of football. And through those experiences, she has shaped her philosophy into a holistic approach to leadership and development. She believes culture must be intentional, created and upheld by both the coaching staff and players through daily habits, accountability and shared responsibility. By prioritizing strong player engagement and aligned coaching leadership, Johnson fosters consistency that fuels discipline, discipline that accelerates development, and individual growth that elevates the entire team.
